Network configuration
Switches
The non-managed switches do not offer any way to configure the software.
For the managed switch, we currently use the default configuration.
Routers
Currently, all the routers have been flashed with the latest stable release of OpenWRT.
Password: There is no password configured for the user interface. There is a password configured for the Wi-Fi network.
Reset: The routers can be easily reset back to factory defaults (clean OpenWRT installation) by pressing the physical reset button long enough.
Wi-Fi networks:
powerlab: 802.11ac, 5 Ghz, 2x2 MIMO
Router #1
Port forwards: There is a port forward configured to make it possible to access the SSH server on the SFF #1 (controller) from the internet. The SSH does not use password authentication.
Services: The router #1 runs dhcpd, Mosquitto & sshd.
Routers #2 and #3
The routers have a custom configuration for the network bridge. The ports 3 & 4 are connected to a custom bridge network. This network is also connected to a Wi-Fi WDS bridge available on both devices. Router #2 is the Wi-Fi AP & router #3 is a client.
Wi-Fi networks:
powerlab2: 802.11ac, 5 Ghz, 2x2 MIMO, WDS bridge
Router #4 (TP-Link)
Currently unused.
Router #5 (4-port)
Currently unused.
Wireguard
Wireguard is configured to make it possible to observe the PowerGoblin status (read-only) and to submit tasks to the PowerGoblin task proxy used for GitLab integration.
