Launching PowerGoblin

This part of the manual describes how to launch the PowerGoblin service and agents. The service provides a web interface with dashboards for monitoring the meters, nodes, and measurements, but also controls for managing prepared measurements, performing manual measurements, and browsing the session logs. The service can also be used without the user interface via the HTTP and Telnet APIs.

In addition, PowerGoblin provides an agent tool to be run on nodes. The agent provides functionality for setting up measurement sessions for automatic measurement scripts.
